My terms and conditions for ordering and buying fursuits.

If you are interested in commissioning me then you will need to note me on my FA (http://www.furaffinity.net/user/rarakie/) or dA (http://www.rarakie.deviantart.com/) account for an estimate on how much it will cost you. Estimates do not mean your request will be accepted or on any type of waiting list, they are for you to get an idea of how much the costume you are wishing for will cost you so then if you like the price its pretty quick from when I become open to you getting the spot. Please keep in mind that pricing may vary over time.

For estimates you will need a reference sheet of your proposed suit’s character (this applies even if you are only wanting certain parts e.g. paws, tails etc.) Reference sheets include three views; front back and side, anything else won’t be accepted as these three views are vital for knowing the design and working out the estimate.
Description of what you want the suit to look like (Expression, toony or realistic, also if you are wanting extras like body padding, ‘following’ eyes etc.)
You will need to tell me the country you live in for me to find out how much shipping will cost.


How ordering with me works:

You will only be able to ask for a commission when slots are open however I will give an estimate you at any time; when commissions are open it will be in my FA journal here.

When I do open for commissions, I dont note back everyone who has enquired now sorry so you'll just have to keep an eye out. If you are still interested, note me back and from then I will choose what costumes I want to create out of those who applied. Please don’t think that if I ask you if you still want to commission me that I will, I’ll get back to you after if you have been chosen or not, this is simply because I will choose the suits I want to create the most.

If you want to, I can send you progress photos of how your suit is going. These will not be taken any more frequently than once a week, this way you can comment or suggest along the way. However after the suit is complete I will NOT take apart and re-do patterns or structure so be sure and clear what you are wishing for in your estimate.

VERY IMPORTANT: If you receive your costume and its not how you wanted it to look, you’d changed or made a mistake with the character design, the measurements you gave me were wrong or for some other reason the costume does not fit I will NOT re-make or re-do anything that was your fault. If however you receive your suit and for some reason something isn’t working or how it should be, I will allow send backs and free fix ups for up to 60 days from when you first received the costume in the mail, providing you pay shipping both ways.

Also:


-I will not make a costume of a character that has a copyright attached to it, so please do not ask.
Allow for the completion time of two years, you will probably receive your costume before this but I have to allow for the unexpected in my outside of costume-making life.

-Sometimes I will have to order fur in from overseas and on rare occasions I may not be able to find the fur needed, in that case I will contact you and ask if I should use a similar colour, or if you have some fur where you live, you can send it over, providing it is of good quality.

-Please do not ask how much it would cost if I was to use lower quality fur because I won’t. If you want to send me the fur you wish for me to use, I will only make the costume if it is quality material because cheap fur doesn’t make for a quality and long lasting suit.

-I do not use any real animal parts in my suits; no real leather, no real fur, no teeth, no noses, no antlers etc. All my work is made with man-made materials and items such as noses teeth and horns are cast from clay, plastic or others.

-I have guinea pigs and cats at my house and because the bussiness is run at my home you will need to let me know if you have an allergy to any type of animal.



Payment

At the moment I only accept paypal as means of payment and will maybe later accept other means of transfer but for now its paypal. I will only start work on the commission when atleast half the cost of the costume has been transfered to my account, I will then let you know its gone through fine and will begin work. If you find you cannot pay the last payment I will not give you the money back as I will be already working on the costume. Also if you cant pay the last payment the suit is automaticly my property and I can use or sell it on as I please.



Fullsuits Include:

A head
A body
A set of hand paws
A set of foot paws
A tail

Anything else you would like (wings, fans etc. will cost more and will be priced accordingly in an estimate).

Because of the fact I live in New Zealand (a long way away from a lot of you) I don’t require a duct tape dummy, just very accurate measurements, and then from there can make a suit that will fit nicely. If you are interested in a full suit commission the measurments are as follows;

Waist.
Chest.
Hips.
Leg length (from inside of leg).
Thigh circumferance.
Arm length (from ball joint of shoulder, you should be able to feel it).
Arm circumferance from around upper arm.
Shoe size - because we have different sizes over here instead of the usual shoe size please measure your foot from big toe to the back of the heel with a ruler for the measurement.
Head (measured around the brow or at the widest point).
For good fitting gloves you'll need to draw around your hand on a piece of paper and place a ruler next to it and take a picture, thst way I can print it out and make snug but comftable hand paws.
Remember: If you give me the wrong measurements and find that the suit is too small I will not be taking it back and re-making it.

Prices for fullsuits start at $1000 US dollars to the maximum of around $2000 US depending on complexity of the character you wish for me to make's design. This price does not include shipping which will be different depending on where you live.

Halfsuits Include:

A head
A set of hand paws (ask if you want sleeves)
A set of foot paws (ask if you want leggings)
A tail
Measurements needed for half suits are:

Waist (if you wish for a resonably big tail, in which case I will use a kidney belt to attach the tail to)
Shoe size
Head (measured around the brow or widest point
Prices for halfsuits start at $700 US to the maximum of around $900 US depending on the complexity of the chataracters design, how many colours are used etc. A estimate can tell you generally how much its going to cost. This price does not include shipping which will be different, depending on where you live.



Parts:
I take commissions for parts also these include things like tails, paws, feat, singe heads and wings. Prices can be arranged through emailing me.
